Here comes the build clinics!
Yep, it's that time of year. Everyone is having
build clinics across the country. From North Dakota
to Illinois, to the East coast! Everywhere you look!
So, what's Mower Racer doing to help? We're having
our version of an "online" build clinic! Both George
and Steve (Bert) have written a couple of well thought
out articles on certain steps towards building a racing
lawnmower.
I've got more articles coming in every other day from
racers across the nation! So be sure and stop by
often to see what's new!

End Geometry and why it works so well on your mower".
Long title, and even longer article! Very informative!

What's this? Bert's building an IMOW? Not really,
but he's helping out those who do want to build one.
Check out his article "If I were to build an IMOW"

I race with the Mtlmra and i have decided that last season was my
last season to race, because im in college and just simply losing
intrest in racing. So im selling my 60's model Turmaster. I have
raced it 2 season, one with a stock Briggs and this past season with
the built Tecumseh motor that it has now. The motor has a VKE forged
alum. piston, stock length billet rod, stainless steel racing
valves, bronze valve guides, a precision cams ground cam for bottom
end pulling, and a custom built billet alum. flywheel. The mower
itself has new alum. wheels all the way around, new turfmaster
tires, alum. hubs (front and back), hydraulic disc brakes on rear
axle, newly rebuilt pearless gearbox, and a smooth working cable
clutch. The body of the mower ( hood and fenders) has a very slick
paint job, it is House of Color Royal Blue Metallic Flake, that cost
500$. This mower is VERY capable of being on top anywhere, but i
weigh just a little too much for AP racing. I won the TN state
championship race my first year racing, and finished 3rd in TN
points last season. I do have one picture to give you an idea what
the mower looks like and i can email that to anyone who would like
to see it. I can be reached on my cell phone (931)-638-6735 or
through email, locker69@... The price is 2000$. - Ryan Locker
I would Like for everyone to take notice that We have A new Vice Pres.
As Of this morning Scott Chrisman Resigned.
And Mr Barry Goodner Will Take Over As Vice Pres. Please Welcome Him
aboard.
Thanks Rodney

Just what every racer needs on the front of his mower!!! An
E.C.Distributing Front axle. These are complete front axles. Fully
adjustable camber, caster, toe, weight jack and or ride hieght, and
Ackerman along with some adjuatability in track width. These work
best with 6.5 to 7 1/4 wide rims. Spindles use 5/8 precision ball
bearings for support on the king pins and have king pin inclination
built into them. They utilize 1/2 king pins with 1/2 heims. Tie rod
is aluminum with left and right hand rod ends. Axles sell for
$225.00. Will have a picture in the file section tonight. NOW while
supplies last we will add billet hubs with bearings and stud kit for
an additional $20.00. The hubs will only be sold at this price with
the front axle. So you will recieve a complete front axle and hubs
for a total of $245.00 plus shipping. I apologize our mowers items
are not on our web site we are experianceing some issues there with
all the rebuilding of it. I will be making a folder on here with some
of our items.
