Canada's Millar Family Take Top Three Spots In $100,000 Grand Prix
The Millar family of Perth, Ontario, had a very successful day at the HITS Ocala Golden Hills International Show Grounds in Florida today--Jonathan Millar, 27, riding Fine Line won the $100,000 Grand Prix of Ocala presented by Great American Insurance Companies, Inc., his father Ian Millar, 54, on Ivar was second, and his sister, Amy Millar, 23, was third on Mill Creek Roseanne.

Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials Cancelled
The foot and mouth outbreak has caused the cancellation of the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, due on 3rd-6th May.
Many other international shows have also been forced to cancel.

Canada’s Three Day Elite Athletes Receive Training Bursaries
Seven of Canada’s elite athletes in the Olympic Sport of Three Day Event have received over $10,000 as a bursary from Eventing Canada [!] to support their 2001 competitive efforts.
