There’s still time to register for the 4 Hills century, Saturday May 12 in Huntsville. 

 

We’re taking walk-ups 6-9 Friday night at the Downtown Holiday Inn and from 7 to 8 AM Saturday Morning.

 

The route is marked and the weather looks great on Saturday.   We’d hate to see that fresh paint go to waste.

 

Download an application from the Alabike Web Site, www.alabike.org, and bring to registration.  We are taking entries all the way up to start time at 8AM on Saturday.

 

If you ride the AlaBike/SCCC Four Hills Century on Saturday you’ll:

 

1)                   Get to ride with homegrown World Masters TT Champion, Mike Olheiser (Memphis Motorwerks), rainbow jersey and all.  He’s fresh off a sixth overall at the Tour of Virginia.

 

2)                   Get a shot at the limited number of Peggy Ann lemon bars at each rest stop

 

3)                   After the ride, you can lunch on smoked chicken, side veggies and Sweet Tea at Lee Ann’s, across Church Street from the Visitors Center.

 

4)                   Huntsville’s Olde Towne Brewery is supplying a keg to enjoy apres’ ride on the patio at Lee Ann’s.  We love Olde Towne!

 

So, sign up for the ride, come to Huntsville, crank out a good elapsed time and get to the lemon bars and beer before the organizers siphon it all for themselves.  J
