Looks like it will be an appropriately brisk fall day on Sunday for the Long Shadows bike rally.   Join us for an end-of-season throwdown with AlaBike in Huntsville.

We’ve laid out a nice 38-mile loop starting at the Lowe Mill at 2:30 PM.  The ride will be lead by local National and World Champ Mike Olheiser.  This will be one of Mike’s last rides before he departs for the 6-day, UCI 2.2, Tour of the Southland in New Zealand.  If that seems too sporty, you can follow the 29-mile shortcut loop or hang out a little bit and do the 12-mile downtown tour.

Afterwards, we’ll have Olde Towne Beer on tap, smoked chicken, pasta, and Peggy Anne lemon bars at starting at 5 PM.   We’ll socialize a bit, do a little bit of AlaBike business and launch into the North Alabama premier showing of Veer, the Movie at 6:30 PM upstairs at the Flying Monkey.
