I rode the Johnny Ray Saturday. When I stopped at the Shell station in LaFayette I got into a conversation with a local. He really wanted me to take a small detour and ride around the square. Apparently LaFayette has spent some time and money sprucing it up and want to show it off. Any way we could make this little detour so folks ride around and admire? Or maybe put a note at that point "a slight detour to see the square would be worthwhile here."
Put me down for volunteering for something in the morning. I'm thinking about doing Six Gap again, which is the next day so I'd want to leave town around lunchtime.

It's that time again! We're gearing up for the club's annual Johnny Ray Century.
Northwest Parkinson Foundation will again be our charity. Willie Fuller and Mike Hogan will spearhead fundraising efforts. HOWEVER they need your help. Please get in touch with them (both are on the B&B list) and offer your services.
We also need you to volunteer your time at headquarters, rest stops, and on sag wagons.
The brochure is posted. We haven't decided on how many we'll mail, hoping to keep down printing and postage costs.
We're also trying to decide between tee-shirts and socks. West Georgia Flyers SockGuy socks are high quality and something different. They are also less expensive than tee shirts. Should we go with socks this year or stay with tee-shirts?
Soon I'll post and email lists of jobs and other information.
