AlaBike's first AMBA was a tremendous success. Congratulations to everyone

Many club members are riding BRAG this year. It begins this Saturday 6 June in
Hiawassee, Ga. and ends the following Saturday. Unless you hear otherwise from
Mike, the regular club meeting, scheduled for 11 June, is suspended.

We are still hoping that someone would volunteer to hold the meeting but so far
no one has contacted me or Mike. One great topic would be a discussion of AMBA
illustrated with the great photos everyone took.

Mountain bike riding and racing is another topic. We have members who race
mountain bikes. I for one would like to hear how they train for that high risk
sport and what kinds of bikes they race.

Commuting is another topic I'd like to hear about. Several members commute to
work in rain and shine. We all need to use our bike facilities more and
commuting is the way to do it. But how do we get to work neat and dry? What to
wear? What to ride? How to ride?

Traditionally we watch a stage of Le Tour at the July meeting but that might
change. Stay tuned.
