We had an informative and lively meeting on Thursday with Brandy talking about
Effective Cycling. She talked about the principles and gave specifics. One major
point she made was that cyclists need to be consistent and predictable for safe
and effective cycling. She answered a lot of questions, on the topic and off.
Folks at the meeting clamored for a course so Brandy offered to teach it
sometime in the fall. She'll tailor it to us and try to teach it in a day
although we may still need the full two days for all the material.
I can start a list of people interested. We talked about having it sometime in
October but we'll keep you posted.
Pete Wolfe talked about AMBA. He picked up more volunteers but needs still more.
Please get in touch with him.
BRAG is coming up in three weeks. Quite a number of the meeting regulars will be
doing the ride including Mike H, Larry, Angela, Tim, Mike S, Larry, Randy, and
possibly others. We need someone to organize and hold the June meeting. William
thought about a night ride but I'm a bit apprehensive about that. Would people
be interested? Any other ideas?
Yours, Angela.
