What’s New?

• New Date – May 12.  Only one week after the Three-State, Three Mountain and Cheaha Challenge Centuries.  After a warm-up ride in Chattanooga and Piedmont, bring your climbing legs to Huntsville and finish the “Triple Crown” of tough spring centuries!
• New Route – Actually it’s the original 2005 route, now that Old US 431 has been rebuilt. 
• New Asphalt – Fresh pavement on the fastest sections of road.  If you can’t hit 50 mph, you’re chicken.  Butler Mill Road along the Paint Rock River is smooth as a billiard ball, shadier than the mafia and more twisty than a Slinky^TM.
• New Food – Free Post Ride BBQ Courtesy of Lee Anne’s on Cleveland Street.  Since we are parking in Lee Anne’s lot, we thought it prudent to patronize her new restaurant.  Luckily, her food rocks!  Park, ride and walk across the street to Lee Anne’s.  Check out the “Depot Patio” and the beer selection.   
• Team Registration – Sign up three or more of your friends and family and get a $5 discount.

• It’s still the four toughest hills in Alabama with 7600 feet of vertical in 100 miles.
• Steep!  Find the true meaning of “18% grade”.
