On Saturday I joined the ride Doug Mote organized from Columbus, Ga. to
the Ft. Benning airfield. We left from 10th and Front Sts and rode the
Riverwalk to the Ft then through the base. Among the fun things we saw
were two Air Force transports taking up parachutters for practice
jumping. Unfortunately we didn't see any jumps.

Riders joined then dropped off. In the end about five of us did the
whole loop.

B&Bers rode to Sara Jay's but I don't have a photo from Bill yet. The
Flyers left later in the warmer weather, 9a from Toomers Corner.
