Please consider signing this petition and letting the USEF know
your feelings about reinstating Paul Valliere as a trainer/judge.
He admited to killing his horse for insurance money. After reading
Hot Blood there is no doubt that he was involved in many more horse

Petition to stop possible AHSA/USEF reinstatement of a horse killer.

Paul Valliere, a prominent horse trainer who was suspended from the
AHSA/USEF for 10 years for his part in arranging the deaths of horses
for insurance money, is eligible to apply for reinstatement to
participate in recognized US horseshows this year.

In 1994 Paul Valliere admitted in federal court that he paid to have
his own horse electrocuted in order to collect $75,000 from his
horse's insurer.

I, and many others STRONGLY oppose this. If you do, or if you want
more information, there is a petition drive addressing the issue and
you can sign online. EVERYONE concerned with and about the equine
industry is invited to sign.
