Hi All
My name is Lori Greenwood and I'm the drillmaster and coach of the
TWHDT and we need your help.
The holiday season is traditionally a time for giving. This year, as
you review all of the many requests you receive, I hope you will
consider giving a gift that will make a difference for a friend of
mine. Her name is Flo Fahey. Recently Flo was diagnosed with breast
cancer. After undergoing a double mastectomy and starting her way to
recovery, doctors told Flo that there was more bad news. She had
spots on both her brain and her liver. She is now undergoing
chemotherapy and radiation in an effort to fight off this very active
disease.

We would like to lessen the burden on our friend by raising funds to
help Flo pay her massive medical bills. As part of our fundraising,
we are holding a fundraiser Dec 2, 2005 at the Dousman Community
Center. We have already enlisted a band and many helpful volunteers.
I will be inviting people from the local business community and
families and friends from the local area. If you could donate an item
for our auction, or provide the food/drinks/decorations or print the
tickets and posters for the event, I will include an acknowledgement
of your support on the program.

No gift is too small. Your support will help us achieve our goal. I
will understand if you are not interested, but hope you will make a
gift and/or pledge to this effort which means so much to so many -
people you undoubtedly will never have the occasion to meet. Whatever
your decision, I hope you call on me if I can answer any questions
you might have.

Flo and her husband Roger have been great supporters of drill team
competitions. Flo and her husband have gone to many of the
competitions over the years and show their support, I hope we can do
the same.
