Hi Pat,
I didn't attend this year, but last year there was some question as to additional locations, and that was going to be an issue addressed. They may have to hold several in other locations, in order to try and get all of the regions on board!
I am so glad to see more involvement into standardizing drill judging! All competetions need to have equal representation from all venues of experience, especially when different areas of the country have different views and expectations of drill and the performance thereof.

In regard to the USEDA or other Drill Standards, did I read correctly on
Flag Riders some time this spring, that the USDEA was considering the Great
Lakes Region as a place to hold their 2006 Coaching and Judges Clinic?
The Judging system that has been used in the Midwest, each team supplies a
Judge and the high and low scores are thrown out has worked for now because
Competitions have been small. For the future as more teams develop and
participate more people need to be educated regarding the Standards that the
Sport of Drill wants to achieve. BTW, that is a vote for a Judging/Coaching
clinic for the Midwest States/ Great Lakes States to be scheduled spring
2006. Thanks for listening. pat
