15 of the baskets will be installed at Chavez Ridge by this Saturday April 29th.
Although
the course is not officially open to the public, you are welcome to come out and
help us
test the course.

Please also help us finish the trails and tees of this beautiful course on the
Eucalyptus
covered hillside above Dodger Stadium and Solano Canyon. We need to get these
done
before our Right Of Entry expires on June 1st, 2006.

Cliff Towne - 323-574-7678

The course map with directions (Ely18April2606trails.pdf) is available for
download at:

http://homepage.mac.com/clifftowne/

Directions:

5 to 110 south, exit Academy, past melding with Solano to a right at light on
Park Dr.
Look at the Eucalyptus hillside behind the Tennis Courts – our container and the
western
section of the course are at the top of that hill. Drive up past playgrounds
and turn right
to head west up that ridge road (Park Row Dr.) to the red/orange container near
hole 15.

OR
5 south to Stadium. Make a left at exit and climb Stadium past Grace Simons to a
left up
the hill towards the stadium, left at stadium gates towards Police Academy and a
left at
light (Park Dr.) . Look at the Eucalyptus hillside behind the Tennis Courts –
our container
and the western section of the course are at the top of that hill. Drive up
past playgrounds
and turn right to head west up that ridge road (Park Row Dr.) to the red/orange
container
near hole 15.

If the main gates by the Tennis Courts are closed (a "rain day") – park and walk
up behind
the park maintenance yard at the corner of Academy and Park.
