Dear DISC members,

We have made big headway on the proposed Chavez Ridge Disc Golf Course
for Elysian Park. John Babin, Mike McNamara and Robert Zion of Burbank
met with me and the members of the CCSEP subcommittee to go over
install plans last Saturday.

The citizen's group subcommittee is excited by the idea of bringing a
fine recreation facility to Elysian and I am excited that the Burbank
crew is willing to take the baton from me by organizing the
installation - Thanks guys!

We are going to need everyone's help to put this course in. Please go
to www.burbankdiscgolfers.com and click on the banner that runs over
the top of the front page. This will take you to a form that you can
fill out with name, phone and email so that John or Mike can contact
you later to sign you up for one of the work crews. Get your buddies
to sign up too! Let's flood these guys with the message that "yes - we
are willing to help get a course installed in LA!" Also, If you can
help with supplies or equipment or have some construction experience -
please note that in the comment section.
