Discsports In Southern California (DISC) is a non-profit organization that promotes disc sports in Southern California with a focus on our youth disc sports programs.
DISC and LA Rec and Parks ran the 2007 Silver Lake Youth Ultimate Summer League. Some great young players had big fun playing Ultimate.
DISC also ran the Youth Ultimate Summer Program with LAUSD's Beyond the Bell South again in 2007. The finals were held on Nov. 18th, 2007. Congrats to 232nd St. Elementary for their victory in the finals over the great team from Ivanhoe Elementary. (side note - Ivanhoe went on to win LAUSD's Basketball Championships!)

Thanks go out to The Citizen's Committee to Save Elysian Park and LA Rec and Parks for having the courage and vision to support the Chavez Ridge Disc Golf Course in Elysian Park.
Play The Fling XII, May 17th, 2008! Reg. form and info are up at: http://www.socaldiscgolf.org/
