so my buddy Shane and i will be doing Alpine, to Tire mountain to Cloverpatch down.

as we climb up Alpine will the Tire mountain trail be obvious? as in a nice trail sign.... any tricks to that intersection?

what is the preferred method for getting from Tire Mountain trail to Cloverpatch? from the WNF website it's hard to tell where Tire ends. looks like there is a road or something you have to ride to get to the start of the Cloverpatch trail. Please help me with tips here on how to get from Tire to Clover. i'll have a couple maps with me on the ride and will check my detailed maps at home tonight as well after receiving your tips.

from the end of Clover it's just gravel back down to the Lookout Point Resevoir road right?

If you're climbing Alpine, Tire Mtn will be a right turn up a short rocky pitch. It is an obvious trail intersection, and there are markers, but you have to...

Climbing Alpine makes the Tire turn a LEFT. I think the Tire sign is on a small log and facing uphill. If you climb 1910, you will be coming down Alpine and it...

Bob is correct on all counts. I will also add that the summit of Tire Mt is not worth the trip. It used to be a lookout tower location and has been ringed with...

After riding out the double track you would have to turn left and go uphill on the gravel for 1/4 mile or so. The single track you should have stayed on takes...
