A-roid was at least young and was yet to hit his physical peak. Sorry seemed to
slow down 25% as soon as we inked the deal. And A-roid also was a true 5-tool
player, whereas Sorry was never 1/3 the defensive player Rod was. A-rod had the
best first 3-4 seasons OF ALL TIME. He earned the richest and longest deal in
MLB history. I'm starting to think we only signed Sorry because at the time the
Cubs were dissed for not spending much despite being the 3rd richest team in the
majors.
