What a hypocrite. Wasn't he the one who called out MB by saying if he is not
100% about the team, then we don't need him here. Follow your own advice and
don't whine about having to "prepare for a game" when he is not playing. For
18M you should always prepare as if you were going to play anyhow. You might
pinch hit, or run for someone or just basically act like a professional ball
player.
I cannot wait until he no longer plays for the Cubs. I probably regret his
signing over Carlos Lee more than any other that Trader Jim has done.

Amen, Nat. El Cabayo could have been the leader we needed, and an unselfish, consistent left-fielder. Losing out on him probably was Hendry's worst non-move....
I had to laugh at the last line. Too funny Rob. Is it too early to start the countdown until he is gone? Nat _____ From: DiehardCubsFans@yahoogroups.com ...
And who's gonna pick up the balance on that contract? He's making like 18 mil per year now isn't he? Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry ... From:...
Yeah, the only way we're likely to get rid of him is if we keep paying a huge chunk of his contract for him to play somewhere else. I don't know about you...

Yeah, you and Larry King. ;) A-roid was at least young and was yet to hit his physical peak. Sorry seemed to slow down 25% as soon as we inked the deal. And...
No, it only seems like it. On 11/21/06 he signed an 8-year deal, he's only in the 3rd year. It just seems like it's been 15 years. We have to put up...
I said in a post about a year ago that a good friend of mine is friends with Carlos Lee. He has a kid that lives close to Chicago. He wanted to play for...
I'm the first to jump on the "bashing Sorry-ano" bandwagon, but what comments did he say when Nat said he was a hypocrite? I missed the article. ... From:...
Regarding your other post about Lee's .600 avg at Wrigley, in that time he was also facing mediocre Cubs pitching. I always have misgivings about signing...
I don't know the exact quote, but it was something along the lines of Sorry talking about Badley not giving 100%, and if he's not going to give 100% day-in and...
That's about the only way we're going to get rid of him is eat a large part of his contract because as it is right now, he's un-tradeable. We'll see what...
Lol that's what the 49er's had to do to get Terrell Owens out of town. I think the 9ers pay him the entire time he played at Philly. sometimes it is best to...
A couple points to this thread: Tom, when I was in Naperville last week, there was an article that said how MB did not have a tight knit relationship with...
Someone who isn't in his right mind, namely Jim Hendry. As you point out,an athlete's career can come to an end just like that. It is insane to give players 10...
Can't we see if we can trade him to a team in the Japanese Professional League? How about the Australian or Taiwanese leagues? Italy has professional baseball....

Nice job killing the joke. FYI, that's why he put a ;) in there. That means it's a joke. That also means we/he doesn't need someone correcting him on his...
