THURSDAY RUN & PARTY (HOLIDAY/END-OF-YEAR/WINTER SOLSTICE)
This will be a casual run, followed by a party. All are welcome to
the party, whether or not you can make the run, and whether or not
you've ever run with us before. If you are new to DTR, this is a
great opportunity to meet some of the regulars.
Location: At Gayle and Rueben Zorilla's house. 159 White Ash Drive,
Golden. 720-519-0829. From the junction of hwys 6, 58 & 93, go N ~¾
mi to Iowa, the next light. Turn left on Iowa. Take the next right
onto White Ash. The house in on the right, almost at the top of the
hill.
Run: We will stay together, running slowly through the neighborhood,
looking at holiday lights. Gayle will provide some song sheets for
those who want to carol. We'll be going slow, so dress a little
warmer than normal. Please bring a light and wear reflective gear
(most shoes and running jackets have reflective spots) to be seen by
cars.
Party: Potluck style. Gayle and Rueben will provide a pasta bar.
Please bring things to compliment such as: salads (green and fruit),
side dishes, desserts, drinks (juice, soda, wine, beer), anything
else that want, store bought or home made. Don't worry if you can't
or forget to bring something. You are still more than welcome. There
is always plenty of food available.
Time:
Arrive: 6:00-6:15 at Gayle & Rueben's. You can drop your food off
inside before the run.
Run: 6:15. We'll run for 45 min – one hour.
Party: Begins about 7:15.
Upcoming runs:
12/23 (Sunday evening) – Full Moon run. Leader needed.
