CLOTHING 4 HOMELESS
It's time to clear out those old running shoes and race shirts taking
up space in your closet. Bring your old shoes and shirts to the
Thursday night runs. I will collect them, and bring them to homeless
shelters.

You can do this yourself too, and get a tax donation. Several running
stores recycle old shoes. I know Runners Roost does,
http://www.runnersroost.com/reuseashoeprogram2.html . There are
several places in Boulder,
http://www.boulderrunning.com/oneworldrunning/shoedrop.php . You can
also check other running stores. I usually take the clothing to the
Denver Rescue Mission, http://www.denverrescuemission.org , 303-313-2413

THURSDAY RUN
Location: South Valley Park. Note changes to the suggested routes,
recently updated on the web site. We will run here rain or moonshine.

Time: The early group starts around 5:30pm. The main group will start
at 6:15pm.

Run notes: Slower and intermediate/faster runners will take different
routes from the start. Intermediate and faster runners will take
different routes on the way back. Please regroup at key junctions.
Experienced DTR runners, please greet newer DTR runners, and help
guide them on the trail.

If you are new to DTR, or unfamiliar with the trails, directions or
ratings, please follow the link below to maps, route descriptions,
driving directions, FAQs, and other information.

OTHER GROUPS

SATURDAY EVERGREEN
The Evergreen Runners Circle (ERC) holds FREE runs every Saturday,
8:30am, on trails, in the Evergreen area. Several DTR regulars join
these runs. The ERC runs are typically about 60 minutes long. They
usually go out for coffee/breakfast afterwards. Please forward your
questions to Dave via the ERC link below. For more info about the ERC
schedules, go to: http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Lodge/7018/index.html
Schedule:
11/4: Alderfer/3 Sisters, upper lot
11/11: Upper Bear Creek Rd, 5mi mark. Perhaps carpool to and run in
the elk preserve.
11/18: Chief Hosa

SUNDAY GOLDEN
Golden weekend runs are Sundays at 7:30 a.m. Meet outside Brooks
Field, CSM Stadium, on 12th Street in Golden, and run on one of six or
more different routes in the Golden area. All of the courses allow for
varying lengths (e.g. 6-14+ miles) and paces, depending on the
interests of the runners on that day. For further information contact
Ron Benioff at rnbenioff@... 303-279-6152.

FULL MOON
The first full moon run, of the winter season, will take place this
Monday, Nov 6 (the full moon is actually on Sunday), weather
permitting. Location TBA in a later message. I'll take suggestions for
locations either via e-mail, or on Thursday night. The full moon runs
are purely social runs, not hard workouts. We wait for everyone.
