Darrin Eisman is selling snowshoes: “I am selling a dozen pairs of
snowshoes that I have in my basement. They are all Alchemy running shoes that I
used for some clinics and loaned to friends. If you know anyone looking to buy
a pair, I am asking $100 a pair. They are great shoes, and I am keeping a few
pair for myself to race in.”

I'd like to see if we can get enough people interested in group road trips to
the following races:
Silent Trails race, 10/8; in Laramie, WY. The race is a memorial to 7
members of the Univ. of Wyoming cross-country team, who were killed by a drunk
driver, while driving back from Colorado, in 2001. The race is 10mi, of
single-track trail, in the Happy Jack Recreation Area, of the Medicine Bow
National Forest, just outside of Laramie. Details at [LINK:
http://www.uwyo.edu/silenttrails] http://www.uwyo.edu/silenttrails. If we can
get enough interest, it can be a lot of fun going to a race as agroup. Laramie
is less than 2 hours from Denver, no farther than going to Vail.
11/12. Rim Rock Run. This is one of the classic runs in the state. The 37km
(~23mi) course travels through the incredibly scenic Colo Natl Monument. It’s a
road race, but has over 1,700’ of climbing. [LINK: http://www.rimrockrun.org/]

Let me know if you're interested in either of these events,or have ideas for
others.
