Happy Solstice everyone. The bad news is that it's cold outside. The
good news is that the days start getting longer.

This Thursday evening is our annual holiday lights run and party. Meet
at 6:00pm, at the South HS parking lot, NW corner, at Louisiana and
Franklin, just across from Wash Park (red star on attached map).
The run will be a casual jog through the neighborhoods around Wash
Park. This will be a very easy run, about 50 minutes, as we look at the
decorated houses.
After the run, join us for a celebration and dinner at Las Margaritas, 1066 S
Gaylord, just N of Mississippi. That is 5 blocks E, and 2 blocks N of the HS
(blue X on attached map). Bring warm and dry clothes to change into after the
run. You are welcome to join us for dinner even if you can't make the run. Meet
us there around 7:00 - 7:15pm.
The forecasts call for very cold temperatures on Thursday. If it is as
cold as expected, we won't wait around much before the start, we will
probably run a little faster to keep warm, and won't dawdle afterwards
before heading over to the restaurant for dinner.

There is no Evergreen Runners Circle (ERC) run on 12/25 or 1/1. The
next ERC run is scheduled for 1/8.
The ERC runs are usually 60-90 minutes long. Occasionally, some people
will start early, or run longer, to get in more mileage. They usually
go out for coffee/breakfast afterwards. Several of us do the ERC runs,
but I don't organize them. Please forward your questions to Dave via
the ERC link below. For more info about the ERC schedules, go to:
