About this time last year I responded to an email on the Trail
RunnersGroup that looked pretty much like the one below.... and had a
greattime. This year it's my turn to ask if you can send out a
desperateappeal for us for replacement runner/s for Hood to Coast relay
inOregon next weekend... we have just lost two runners from our team
of12. The following is from our team captain:

I am desperately seeking runners for the upcoming Hood to CoastRelay
team! The event is Friday the 27th & Saturday the 28th in thePortland,
OR area. Each runner runs 3 legs totaling 14-19 miles. Ittakes about
the same conditioning as running a 10K.
 
If you know anyone (including yourself!!) who might be
interested,please let me know.
 
The team I have assembled includes runners of all abilities, ages,shoes
sizes and from 3 different states but we had 2 drop out at thelast
minute and need 2 replacements. Our goal is to have fun andfinish. The
event is absolutely the most fun as far as running eventsgo. We have
transportation & lodging arranged, so anyone interestedwould just need
to book a flight.
