Last Saturday evening, a mountain bike rider encountered a mountain
lion at White Ranch. He was on the longhorn trail at the time.

Just a reminder to be careful and aware of you surroundings when you
are out on the trails. We share the area with cats, bears, snakes, and
other wildlife, even in some of the places like White Ranch that are so
close to town. It's a good idea to go with a friend, especially someone
who is slower and meatier than you. :)
