This Thursday's run is at Green Mtn. (T=3, P=2-4). An early group
will meet at 5:30pm. I don't know who or if anyone has been showing
up early, so you may be on your own. The main group will start at
6:15pm.

For directions and route info go to:
groups.yahoo.com/group/denvertrailrunners
Click on Files
Click on Trails
Open Green Mtn.
If you can't view the map in the file, please read the route
description carefully.

In case of rain (stay off muddy trails) or lightning (you don't want
to be atop Green Mtn in a thunderstorm), we'll run at Bear Creek Lake
Park instead. Meet at the dirt lot, at Morrison and Rooney roads,
just across from the Conoco Station, just west of C-470. From Green
Mtn., go left out of the lot, south on Rooney Rd. Go left at the stop
sign, cross over C-470, then immediately go right again on Rooney Rd.
Continue south about 2.5mi to the lot.

Schedule (subject to change):
6/19-Falcon, Time Trial
6/26-Lair O' The Bear, pot-luck picnic

This Saturday's Evergreen Runners Circle (ERC) run is at the Beaver
Brook Trail/Genesee (T=4, P=3). It starts at 8:30am sharp. Meet at
the park-n-ride lot, on the NORTH side of I-70, at the Genesee exit
(#254), the buffalo overlook.

The ERC runs are usually about an hour long. Sometimes a few people
will meet early or continue after the run to get in more mileage.
They usually go out for coffee/breakfast afterwards. I don't lead
these runs, so please don't ask me the questions. For more info about
the ERC schedules, go to:
http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Lodge/7018/index.html

Schedule:
6/21: O'Fallon Park.
6/28: Three Sisters.

Race directors are always looking for additional help. I need help
with my races, listed below. I especially need help on my June 24
race. If you are connected with any youth group (e.g., sports,
scouts), I'd donate some money to the group in exchange for volunteer
help. Contact me at runahill@... ASAP.

6/24, Twilight Trail 10k. White Ranch. That's right. A weekday
evening trail race.

8/3, Golden Gate Canyon Trail Race. ~10mi

8/24, Tails on Trails; 5km. White Ranch. Trail run for dogs and their
2-legged friends. Benefits the Table Mtn Animal Shelter.

Every Sunday, the Incline Club meets to run in the Pikes Peak area.
It's a large group with wide range of abilities. The runs start at
8am sharp in Manitou Springs. The runs typically are 2-3.5 hours.
They have upwards of 100 runners with a wide range of abilities. Let
me know if you are interested in joining/forming a carpool, and what
part of town you will be coming from. For more info on these runs,
including a map and detailed description of this Sunday's route, go
to www.inclineclub.com.

Looking for company on a long weekend run? Want to carpool to a
mountain race, Incline Club run or other outing? Let me know and I'll
send out the word. Please send me specific information about where
and when you want people to meet, or how to contact you. Please try
to send me the information a week in advance so I have time to get it
into my weekly message. Don't wait for me to plan everything!
