June 21 is a 15km trail race at Snow Mountain Ranch (SMR) in Fraser.

Some of us are planning to make a weekend of it in the mountains. All
are welcome to join us.

We'll go up Saturday morning for the race, do some playing afterwards,
then camp out saturday night. "Playing" may mean road and/or mountain
biking, paddling, hiking, swimming (in the pool at SMR), drinking, hot
springing, whatever you want to do.

I know some have said that they can't make the race or don't want to
race, and may come up a little later.

There are no real plans, other than meeting at SMR on Saturday. We'll
make up the activities and camping location when we're there. We've
done that before.

The race starts at 9:00am. There's also a 3k race for kids.

SMR is on US 40 about 80 miles from Denver, about 15 miles past Winter
Park, about 7 miles before Granby.

If you are just coming up for the day and are interested in carpooling,
I'll try to help arrange that too. It will probably mean meeting at the
park-n-ride lots in Morrison around 6:30-6:45.

RSVP if you are interested in camping and/or carpooling. Please do not
change the Subject line. Reservations aren't required, it will just
give me an idea of how many people are coming and who we should be
looking for.

Note: Others had previously expressed interest in camping on the June
28 weekend. I don't think I can go that weekend. However, I would be
happy to send out a message if someone else wants to take the lead on
this one. June 28-29 is the Fat Tire Festival in WP, so you'll be
better off going somewhere else.
