WATERTON IS OPEN!

I've heard from several people today that they saw or heard it was
closed. I called the Kassler facility late this morning, which
manages the public recreation there and is at the entrance to the
canyon. The person said that it had just opened to the public and he
had no reason why it wouldn't be open tomorrow. Kassler knows better
than any central Denver Water contact.

If for some reason it is closed, there are other places we can run
from there. If some of you are interested, we can run the trails in
Chatfiled, even if Waterton is open. The trails will likely be
covered with snow and maybe a little ice. There are also road and
bike path options in the park.
