Running in Evergreen looks sketchy for a while. Several of us are
meeting at Waterton Cyn instead of the scheduled ERC run. Waterton is
a dirt road closed to public vehicle travel. It is almost always
plowed because Denver Water personnel need access to the dam.

Take C-470 to Wadsworth. Go south 4.5mi. Turn left at Waterton Rd.
It's the only left after the entrance to Chatfield, and where
Wadsworth curves to the west. Go about 150' and turn left into the
large dirt lot. It's the 2nd lot on the left. The first turn is the
Discovery Pavilion. Walk across the road to the west and meet by the
bathrooms. We'll meet at 8:30am.

On Sunday, I'll be setting the controls for next weekends snowshoe-o
course. I'd welcome the company. If you plan to do the orienteering
course, please don't join me. Otherwise, all are welcome.

The course is at Warrior Mtn, about 14 miles up Squaw Pass Rd, hwy
103, from Bergen Park. I expect the snow to be deep and heavy. So, it
will mostly be hiking, not running. If you don't want to do the hard
stuff, you can stay up high while we go down to the further controls.
It's a nice, avalanche safe area, mostly in the trees, with almost no
trails.

Send me a message and we'll figure out where to meet. We'll probably
meet around 8:30am.
