WWE issued the following press release, while Raw was still on the
air:

Christy Hemme of Los Angeles Crowned the Newest WWE Diva Live on
Monday Night RAW
Monday September 20, 10:42 pm ET

Hemme Wins $250,000 One-Year Contract with WWE

STAMFORD, Conn.--Sept. 20, 2004--Footage of Los Angeles native
Christy Hemme being crowned the WWE's newest Diva will be available
via satellite tonight at 11:30 PM EST. (See Below for Coordinates)
Christy Hemme was declared the new RAW® Diva and receives a one-year
WWE® contract and $250,000. Aside from winning this title, Hemme was
most recently a Juggy Dancer on "The Man Show," and has modeled for
top magazines such as Muscle & Fitness, Rolling Stone, Maxim, and
Stuff. As a Harley Girl, she's been to every Harley rally around the
nation, opening up for the Headliner bands. Christy currently resides
in Los Angeles.

Of the thousands of women who tried out for this contest, 10
finalists were selected and debuted on RAW on Monday, July 19. WWE
fans voted via telephone and on the web at www.WWE.com to keep in
their favorite Diva contestant. Each week one diva was eliminated
until tonight's Monday Night RAW Live telecast, when Christy Hemme
was declared the winner and awarded a one-year contract with WWE and
$250,000.

The competition between the 10 women was fierce, as their backgrounds
made them what they are today. The list of potential Divas varied
from a 2004 Playboy Playmate of the Year (Carmella DeCesare) to a set
of Twins (Chandra & Julia Costello) from "The Man Show" to a singer
(Amy Weber) from "Son of a Beach," and a host (Camille Anderson) from
the ever popular E! "Wild On" show. Despite their various ages and
backgrounds, they all had one thing in common: it was their dream to
be a WWE Diva.
