Hello everyone -

It sad for me to say but i am moving away due to issues in the area
and i can no longer stay here in davis/woodland.

I'll be moving up near reno in a couple weeks and i dont know how
often i will be coming back into town.

I want to thank you all for being excellent people/friends and i wont
forget you guys. I'll keep in touch and everything but coming back to
the area will be difficult.

You've all become a very special part of my life and i'm glad that i
met you all.

There's going to be a going away party/80's party at the Davis
Graduate this thursday starting at 9pm, there might be a cover so if
you can come it would be best to come before 8:30 so you dont get
charged $5.

I hope i see you guys there and once again i'm going to miss you guys
a lot.

If you guys know anywhere to train up near quincy/portola please let
me know.

Hey everyone,

training for the batizado should just mean training as much as you can! You should all try to take class in Sac when you can, and should really participate in EVERY class to the fullest extent.

the batizado will have a lot of time for open rodas, and also you will play with a teacher or a mestre. you should practice as much as you can and develop your game so that you are comfortable playing and feel strong and confident in your movements.

We will keep working in class to get you guys ready, and will talk more about it as the batizado gets closer. Also, we have started holding rodas on Sunday evenings. A perfect time to get a chance to play more.

I am sure you will all do great in September - just keep training!

I was wondering if someone could tell me how the event was. I was
supposed to help with the setup but had a conflicting event the same
day. I did try to stop in, unfortunately I spent one hour driving in
DOWNTOWN SACRAMENTO looking for 716 N Street!!! Didnt know the event
was in Davis....i know...im stupid....

i dont think you'll have any problems with your height. Our tallest person female right now in sacramento is about 6'0" i think and she does an awesome job. I'm glad you had a good time at class, suzie will be back next week so you should totally come back and meet her. She's a great teacher and keeps us all in line haha. last week we got a letter saying that the manager didnt have a contract with you anymore to use the room on thursday evenings. i called her about the situation and she said the last payment she got from you was on june 28 i believe she said. i told her we still had been coming to use the space and she was really nice about it and said that it was fine. she said to have you call her when you get back from brazil so she can figure out what happened.

she added our class to her calender so that she knows we use the space thursday evenings and we both appologized to each other for the mix up.

Hey guys,

I took Capoeira at the ARC in davis last quarter and I was wondering
if I could catch a ride with anyone to Sacramento for beginner classes
there since I don't have a car. (I would help pay for gas of course.)
I was also wondering what time people leave to get there since I don't
get out of class until 5 on Monday and Wednesday and later on Tuesday
and Thursday. Just thought I'd check, thanks for your time.
