Hey guys, what's up? First of all T-Ham has signed back w/ the 'Boys.
A one year deal I think. Does this mean he will be traded? Maybe. If
there is anybody who wants him. He'd be a better fullback.

As for the difference between Julious Jones and Cason. Yes they are
about the same size, both are quick (Jones was clocked at 4.3's in
his senior year). As for their size; Cason LOOKS smaller(thinner) in
his uniform than Jones does. Teams have been known to exagerate when
it comes to player's measurments from time to time. I'm guessing that
Cason is closer to 200lbs than 220lbs. And I don't care what you guys
say, 10-20 lbs IS a big difference(especially muscle) when it comes
to running backs(because of how many hits they take per season). From
what I've read, here and there, about both backs there is one thing
that Jones has that has never been said about Cason. "What is it?"
you ask. VISION. As in "field vision". That is a characteristic that
every great rb has had. EMMITT, Barry, Sweetness they all had it.
Once EMMITT was drafted alot of "experts" said he was too small and
too slow, and why did the Cowboys draft him?. Remember? But once
EMMITT began to dominate the league alot of teams tried to find an
EMMITT type back(as in size, etc.). There were alot of EMMITT
lookalikes that came and went. Some were faster and stronger, but
none lasted too long in the league. Why? They didn't have the "field
vision" it takes to last in the league. Field vision is important
because that's what helps them read their blocks better, juke
defenders in the open field, and most importantly, know where the
hole in the o-line will be before it opens.

I know what you're thinking, CALM DOWN! I'm not saying he is gonna be
as great as those guys(that would be nice though), but he does have
more of the necessary tools than Cason does. Don't get me wrong, I
like Cason too. Just not as a #1 rb. He will get his chance to
compete for the job in training camp, but I think he will end up #2rb
or just a 3rd down back. As for the amount of carries and "ypc" he
got last year they kinda go hand-in-hand. He didn't get that many
carries because he missed alot of games due to injury. With that
being said, that's why he had a high ypc average. Remember he had a
65 yd carry the first game of the year! So that helped his average a
little bit I'm sure. Plus if Tuna had the same feelings towards Cason
that some of you have, they wouldn't have drafted Jones. DUH!

Also, if for some reason disaster strikes and Jones doesn't pan out
this year, we do have 2 first round picks next year. And there is a
certain #32 out of UT that should be the only "sure fire" rb in the
draft next year(top 10 pick barring injury). You know who I'm talking
about...Cedric Benson that's who. Just thought I'd put that out there
for ya. Let that one marinate till next year.

As for T-ham. If we keep him around he'll probably be switched to fb.
He is a good blocker, which is ironic because alot of times he looked
like he was afraid to take a hit while running the ball. Anyways
gotta go see ya when I see ya.

REDSKINS SUCK!!!!!!!
