There is a hat tournament in gville nov 10. look below for the link.
For those of you who dont know. A hat tournament is just where you show up
individually and you are assigned randomly to a team that you play with all day.
Its great fun and a great way to learn a lot and get a lot of playing time. So
any new people should really consider going.

AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at AOL.com.
Again, a few things:
1. By popular demand, club practice has been moved from the AM on
Saturday to the PM on Saturday. So, this means that EVERY WEEK the club
practices will be on Tuesday at Leon at 6pm and Saturday at the IMs at
6pm. This also means that the excuse for not being able to make AT
LEAST ONE is nonexistent and not being able to make both is minimal.
This schedule will remain constant throughout the summer with the
exception of weekends, obviously, where we are at tourneys. I saw
Chris's email. DUF has no more excuses. If old guys with kids can make
it, young guys can find a way to make it too.
2. After last night's exhausting run, Micah and myself decided that we
need to make conditioning work out for more than just a small
percentage of the team. Needless to say, we're adapting it. There will
be two days of conditioning a week still. One at the track (strongly
encouraged) and one either at the stadium or running hills at my house
(still encouraged, but the track moreso). The track workouts are what
we want to adapt for everyone in a way that at least gets us all out
there running together (or at least a good number of us). It will
mostly work off of hollow runs (sprint the straights, jog the curves),
but on the curves, we'll wait for everyone to catch up so that everyone
can at least start the sprints together. I'll talk a little bit more
about this on Saturday. The two days that I think will work best are
Monday and Thursday. This doesn't interfere with pickup. This should
also make it easier for any of you doing air alert (Pyle, Daniel) to be
able to get some running in there too. It definitely won't be as hard
as the VC workout we did in the spring. We're not trying to be Vicious,
but we all could still use the running. Anywho, think about which one
is better as far as the track days (Monday vs. Thursday), which will be
more encouraged on the grand scale than the hills/stadiums. Again,
we'll talk on Saturday.
3. Scott made a very amusing suggestion to a team name on Tuesday that
I think everyone should hear. I'm still slightly partial to Turboclub
5000, but that's cause I'm a tool. Anywho, And Justice for Rob/Free
Rob/etc. would be a great vote off for Turboclub5000. Again, we'll talk
Saturday.
4. As I said before, the last emails I will send to these 3 groups
(wacker, FSUltimate, DUF) stop tomorrow. The new group, though not
necessarily indicative of team name, is Turboclub5000@yahoogroups.com.
So go to groups.yahoo.com and join Turboclub5000 to get Tally club info
for this summer.
That's it. Micah won't be there tomorrow, but I will. 6pm. Ims. Go team
go. Drew out.

Yup. The time has come. Try and get out there a little early
(5:30-5:45ish) so we can actually get started at 6. Also, bring a pair
of running shoes. We're gonna do a little bit of conditioning
afterwards for those who can stick around. See you kids tonight. Drew out.

Yo. A few things...
1. Tonight Micah and myself are doing the running in circles at Leon
around 9. In honor of the Spartans, we are running 300s. Anybody who
feels like making themselves uncomfortable with us is more than
welcome.
2. Practice tomorrow night. This is the first official club practice.
It'll be at Leon at 6pm. There wasn't such a great turnout on Saturday
(I believe it just ended up being Micah, Scott, and Jim), but hopefully
we can fix that over the next few weeks. Tomorrow also doesn't mean
waking up early on Saturday. So come on out!
3. As suggested to me by Scotty, after this week I'll be creating a new
yahoo group for this summer's club team to keep the traffic down on
fsultimate and the DUF airwaves. Again, if you want in, come to
practice on Saturday to find out the super secret code name for our
group so you can be in the know. Alright so this is a stupid exclusive
he-man womanhaters move, but I'm desperate to get more people to come
out. So stop making me resort to treehouse tactics and just come to
practice already!
Drew out.

At 9pm, Micah and myself are going to be running up the hill in front
of my house and making ourselves very uncomfortable in the hopes of
being able to more comfortably make ourselves uncomfortable at
tournaments. Anyone who wants in is more than welcome. We'll probably
be running for 30 minutes or so. Drew out.
ps. Directions to my house for anyone who needs them:
Get on Tennessee street going East away from campus. Cross Magnolia.
Take a left on Spottswood (it's directly across from a shell station).
Take your first right (Sauls). The road will do a 90 degree bend to the
left at which point it becomes Carraway St. It's the first house on the
left after the bend (914 Carraway St.). Toodles.

Hunter reminded me that while I did say when practice will happen, I
neglected to say where. For now, Saturday mornings will be at the IM
fields and Tuesday evenings will be at Leon (that way we don't
necessarily have to fight off the other sports for field space). Any
other questions, just let me know. Drew out.

So we've had low numbers at both of the first two attempts at club
practice. But we haven't really been pushing it yet. So allow me to get
pushy for the first time.
After a few talks with a few people, it sound like the best practice
times will be Saturday mornings at 9am and Tuesday nights at 6pm. This
leaves Wednesdays and Sundays open for pickup. I'll be doing
conditioning with Micah on Monday and Thursday nights. It'll probably
be after 9 to avoid the heat. I'll send out an email with the time and
place for anyone who wants to join us. The conditioning won't be
manditory (even though I STRONGLY advise that everyone at least does
two hard runs a week if you're not going to do them with us), but the
practices definitely are. The more practices you attend, the more
playing time you get at tourneys. It's that simple.
Which brings me to the next point. I'm sending off a check for our
first tournament. It's a savage 9 tourney in Gainesville on July 14 and
15. It will be $20 a person. The roster will be chosen from those who
come to practice. Again, it's that simple. If you want to go, come to
practice. We will also, hopefully, be going to Toss in the Moss in
August before club sectionals. So if you don't end up going to
Gainesville, there will be at least two more tourneys we'll be
attending.
So that's the line in the sand for now. This Saturday will be the last
"freebie" practice. Next Tuesday is the first one that will be
manditory. With one night practice and one morning practice, there's no
reason I can see that anyone who wants to play can't make AT LEAST one
practice a week. Furthermore, I don't see many reasons why everyone
can't make both. Set your work schedules accordingly and come out to
the fields. It's high time that North Florida represented on the club
level. Word. Drew out.

Hopefully this will be the start of the Tally club for this summer.
We'll wrap it all up by 12:30 or so. After a bit of talk last night, it
seems like practices will regularly be held on Saturday morning around
9 or 10 (I'm all for earlier as the midday summer sun is not so kind to
us) and then at least one more day during the week. I was thinking a
Tuesday night at Leon around 6pm. This way, Sunday and Wednesday are
preserved for pickup. We can talk that out a bit on Sunday.
Anywho, let's get some good numbers out this Sunday. Check you kids
there. Drew out.
ps. If we get our shit together soon enough, or at least have 9 that
are interested, there is that savage 9 tourney in Gainesville coming
up. That's on July 14-15. Two weeks later (July 28-29), Heatout is in
Baton Rouge. I think we should go to at least one, if not both, of these.

I'm pretty sure thats the one I made for the Orlando trip on accident
because no one asked for it, and no one really said they wanted it,
Juan said he might want it but he never stepped up like a man and took
it. Cause a man takes what he wants, and your a man right drew. So if
you want it take. If not, the decision of what to do with it is yours,
but remember with great power comes great responsiblity so choose
carefully. Also, what color did you want your other shirt. Pick a
color any color and I can make it happen for you (with in reason of

Oh yeah and 73.5% of you guys still owe me money, Dustin is the only

hello everyone the time has come for club ultimate to start getting
serious (at least somewhat). I know this is somewhat short notice but
the first practice is going to be this Sunday(the 27) starting at 10:00
Am on the IM fields please don't be late. All are welcome, but this is
not going to be pickup! This practice is to give those that might be
interested a chance to see what the practices are going to be like.
This is not a "tryout" so don't worry about being cut from the team.
however it is a competitive practice and i will be looking at where
people will fit on the team and how they play. I look forward to the
upcoming season.
