Following the advice of some really nice people on this group I have been buying some stuff on ebay trying to put together a downhill skate to get started, and I'd like to show it to you guys and see what you think. I'll be more than happy to help with the rides, I'll be there tomorrow. I checked for Starbucks in Saratoga, and I think that the one you are probably talking about is the one on 14410 Big Basin Way, right? You ought to come out and hang with us while we take a few side roots and everyone can see how you skate. The regular downhill skates are a little more intense for a starter than is probably advisable. But we are always looking for people excited about downhill and would be glad to except your generous offer to help with the driving. You are welcome to join us Sunday. We meet in Saratoga, usually at start buck around 0900am.
