Re: [DSK8] California Downhill Series #5 Announcement

For the inline downhill, are there prizes for each race of this series or is it an overall placement? If there are prizes for each individual race, what are they? What are the suit requirements for the inline downhill? Can we wear what we were wearing in the X-games?

Thanks
Gary

The California Downhill Series continues with race #5  in Frank G Bonelli
Park, Saturday Sept 17, 2005 located in San Dimas, California.

Race Course:
The course starts on a 6% incline and drops for about 100 feet into a hard
85 degree right hander. The road then bends to the left and drops into a
straightaway and then into a hard 90 degree right hander with a short shoot
to another hard right hander. You will then proceed down the long straight
away to a hard 90 degree left hander and just as you come out of the corner
will be the finish line. The racecourse is approximately 1km (.6mi) in
length not including the run out. Top speeds will be in the (42mph) range.

Scott Peer currently leads the series with a 20.5 pt advantage over 2nd
place Mark Henley, with Warren Focke trailing by another 11.29 pts.

Stay tuned as local favorites #2 ranked Warren Focke and #3 ranked Mark
Henley continue their quest to unseat So-Cal favorite #1 ranked Scott Peer,
in what promises to be an exciting finish for the California Championship
title in November.

All inline racers are encouraged to attend, as well as all new participants.
