What is skate form, the subject if my topic today, all
those interested please join in this discussion. While
my view is from a downhill perspecive, speed skating,
rec skating are all fair game in this discussion.

Many times people have asked me what about my skating
improved my race performance the most. I have to say
it is form, but what does that mean? When I say form
I talking about the form of my legs and angle of my
skates and to a more minor degree tuck. For several
years as I grew to trust my legs on the downhills the
streets of San Francisco, I was always behind some of
the great downhillers. When I came to trust my legs
and not fear the hills, I was still behind, but now I
was free to figure out what was lacking and that was
going to change. As I began to experiment I soon
learned it was my form.....

More to come!
