I hope your winter went well, and that you're getting some good
downhill runs. You'll see an announcement below from Petra about this
year's world championships July 9-10 in Germany. I hope you can read
German! Also, I've listed all the downhill events that I know about
below. The West LA College races will also happen again this year
from May through November, but the dates are not yet firm since we're
still in the permit process. There will likely be one or more
additional races in the San Francisco area that are not shown, they're
working on a regional short course series akin to the WLAC races (1
day events that should be lots of fun). I'm also working on a small
GS race at Mammoth, California for August or September.

INLINE DOWNHILL WELTMEISTERSCHAFT
09. - 10. Juli 2004 in Borgholzhausen
.....vielleicht hat es sich bereits herumgesprochen, Borgholzhausen
wird Austragungsort einer offiziellen Weltmeisterschaft, der ersten
Weltmeisterschaft auf deutschem Boden im INLINE DOWNHILL.
Am Freitag, 09. Juli, und am Samstag, 10. Juli 2004, werden sich die
weltbesten Inlineskater auf die rasante Abfahrt auf der "Ravensberger
Streif" machen, um den Weltmeister/die Weltmeisterin in dieser
Disziplin zu ermitteln.
Hierbei erreichen die schnellsten Fahrer auf der ca. 2 km langen
Strecke eine Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit von ca. 70 km/h.
