Hi, just joined, just wanted to say I have been a Dodger fan for
longer than I can remember, and you could probably care less, 'cuz
you all have too :) Anyway, I had a "special feeling" about that '88
club, and pretty much have the same feeling about this team as well.
This club may be more talented than that '88 club (many Dodger teams
since that time have been superior "on paper" to that club), but this
year's team actually seems (to me) to have that intangible that the
previous teams have not had. Don't want to sound like a "Cub fan"
with the annual optimism they go through, but this team seems to have
been working the last two years for this year. If Brownie & Dreif
can do what they have done in the spring, the rotation should be
solid. The bench looks solid with whoever they keep out of
Coomer/Shumpert/Romano/Cabrera/Murray group(with Murray being the
suprise, and even this Hundley seems to be an improvement over
the "last Hundley", and even Larry Barnes has to go down after a
solid spring. Anyway, to keep this short and not repeat what a lot
of what you all know anyway, it looks to be a great season, and glad
to be aboard. Only question I have is whether the team should keep
Veras & send down Joe Thurston for a little while....
