I think Willis will get pounded in the AL. But Tigers now have a
pretty hard hitting lineup. As for Bedard, quality starter is an
understatement. He was in the AL Cy Young discussion before getting
shut down for injury at the end of August. Look at the stat he put up
and look at the teams he pitched against. If you don't think that's
shut down ace material, I don't know what else to say. He would give
the Dodgers somebody to run up against Peavy and Webb. It slides
Penny to #2 followed by Billingsly, Lowe and Schmidt. If Kershaw is
all that he's made out to be, I can see him taking Broxton's spot
easy, like a Joba Chamberlain. Andrew Jones 2 yrs 32 mil, I don't
have a problem with that. Young and Ethier at RF. LaRoche at 3B. So
you upgrade your defense at CF, upgrade your starting pitching, power
will be a wash to slight upgrade with a full season of Loney.
Pitching and defense, just like the old days.
