Loney probably isn't better than Nomar (although maybe more durable),
but why give Nomar $10m when you can pay Loney next to nothing, and
put that money toward a Zito or a Soriano? It might be cool to bring
back Nomar as a SUPER UTILITY player, and start him 4 or 5 times a week.

Considering he played so well in April and September, I feel like Drew's low production was a fluke. That means he'll probably play great to start next season...

Soriano is a lot better player than Drew is numbers wise but I don't know of anyone getting 100 Million now but I guess if a team is desperate, they will pay...

No question Soriano is better than Drew. But with salaries rising again, Drew's contract doesn't seem as outrageous as it did 2 years ago. ... don't know of...

Also if you look at it now, Drew is 3 years and 33 Million in comparison to what a new free agent will get. Drew won't make more than the deal he got from LA...
