Quantrill pitched very well while he was with us but he has been
horrible this season. I would like to see our staff fully intact for
once this season to see how good/bad they really are.

got rid of Quantrill when we did because he just cost too much. Now
he will still be collecting his salary from New York this season but
why wouldn't the Dodgers maybe try to sign him to the minimum for the
rest of the season or Stanton for that matter? They both have
closing experience and set up experience...just a thought.

7 Million Dollars total is being spent on both of them this season. They can call up unknowns and actually pay someone the minimum other than Wang to pitch...

I thought the same thing-though I dunno-Stanton in particular REALLY hasn't pitched well. Quantrill....well, he pitched well for us and then seems to have done...

Yeah, I see your point about signing them cheaply. But is it worth the possibility of adding even more instability to the bullpen?...

My only thought is that if they sign for the minimum, they would be making the same amount as the kids and they both have closing experience which could help...

Well it's all a gamble and I really don't think the team will try to sign them anyway. It was just a thought that went through my mind and I was just thinking...
