Description

This group is to organize pick-up field hockey in the Washington, DC area.
It was started by members of other field hockey teams looking for a more fun atmosphere. Now we're a diverse group made up of individuals who have either found us online, while running on the mall or have sat next to our stinky butts on the metro.

*UPDATE: Hockey will begin March 30, 2009
We've added an additional date. We will be playing hockey on turf, Sundays at 4. Location: G'town University Kehoe field

WHO:Males and Females who have a passion for field hockey. NO experience required.
COST: FREE
WHERE: We meet at the fields in front of the Smithsonian Metro Stop. For those who drive, there is parking on either side of the field.
WHEN: Every Monday at 6PM until we're too tired!
What to bring: WATER, shinguards, mouthguard, cleats, a field hockey stick, and either a reversible jersey or a light and dark shirt - no grays please.


You will be receiving weekly reminders of play and if we have to cancel due to weather.
