That's right. In Arlington, there are two places that have badminton
playing times: Tuesdays at Wakefield or Kenmore school, and Fridays
at Gunston middle school. I haven't been to either of these places in
a while, so hopefully someone who has will pipe up and let us know
if/when play is going on at these locations. From the past I recall
that these schools close for the summer, hence there is no badminton
play possible here.

Your other options would be George Washington University in DC, where
they play Wed & Fri from around 7pm till whenever... usually midnight.
The level of play quite high here but beginners/intermediate players
are not discouraged from showing up.
