When does the consultation close?
St Albans Cycle Campaign warned Dave and I that in earlier drafts the really useful policies had been separated off into an annex and given an 'optional' status. We need to watch out for that. In making consultation responses, I strongly recommend that we check with other campaigners across Herts and make consistent responses.
St Albans Cycle Campaign have a public meeting on 31st May 7.30pm St Albans Council Offices, Civic Centre St Peters St AL1 3JE with the new cycling strategy officer at Herts Highways talking about the strategy. Also Jason Falconer - the 'Bike It' cycling officer for Luton, Beds, St Albans - a non local government initiative for travel to school (sustrans inspired I think)
This will be a really good meeting - recommend we send some representatives if we possibly can.
