USCA Level 1 and Level 2 Instructor Training   Topic List   < Prev Topic  |  Next Topic >

Hi all,

The San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club (SFBACC) and WineCountry Curling are
offering USCA Level 1 and Level 2 Instructor Training Classes in June and we'd
like to invite folks from the region (and anywhere else!) to join us. We've got
information available on the SFBACC web site: www.bayareacurling.com but here
are a few key details:

Level 1 -- Tuesday, June 16, 7:30-11:30 pm, (2 hours off-ice, 2 hours on-ice),
must be a USCA member to attend

Level 2 -- Tuesday, June 2, 7:30-11:30 pm (2 hours off-ice, 2 hours on-ice),
must be Level 1 certified to attend. (The reason Level 2 is offered before
Level 1 is that you need to teach a Level 1 class to get Level 2 certification.)

Both classes will be held at Sharks Ice at San Jose (the Sharks' practice
facility) 1500 S. 10th Street, San Jose, 95112. Jerome Larson, Level 3
instructor and curling guru, is scheduled to be the lead instructor.

Contact Brent Halpenny at president@... for price information and
to sign-up. Please contact me if there's anything else I can do to help. And
please pass this along to anyone I've missed!

thanks,
Gabrielle Coleman
