Hi Everyone,
My apologies - I've been a little behind on getting things
organized.
For an organizational meeting, I propose we meet this coming Sunday,
10/14, at 5:30PM at the Panera in 4S Ranch town center (Rancho
Bernardo). This is a fairly central location with minimal traffic
on a Sunday. There are places to eat for those who want food, and
there is a Chili's nearby for those who want to catch the second
half of Sunday Night Football after the meeting : )
At this meeting, I would like to elect our board of directors and
officers for the year. I realize this time won't work for everyone,
so if you are interested in being an officer or director (or keeping
your post) but won't be able to attend, please let me know in
advance.
I would also like to unload a bunch of tasks that have been sitting
on my "to-do" list but not getting done. Many of these are small
but valuable - if we can divide them up and get them checked off, it
will really get the ball rolling.
I encourage anyone who is interested in helping curling succeed in
San Diego to attend, even if it's just to vote and show your support.
Good Curling!
-Elliot
