For those of
you who don’t know, Heather’s hometown club, Carleton Place Curling
Club up near Ottawa in Canada, has agreed to “twin” with our
club. What exactly that means, we’re not sure yet – but CPCC
has generously donated some used brooms and sliders for the club to use (and
Heather has been nice enough to transport down). These will help with
open houses and players who don’t have their own equipment yet.
CPCC has been
around for 111 years – if you have a chance, check out their
website. They give us something to aspire to here in
