Subject: Lady's Day IDPA Match Stages and Information - Saturday May 16th
Attached are the stages for Lady's Day. These stages start off easier and get more involved as they go. Although we are calling it Lady's Day, this is a good day for new shooters too. Lady's shoot free.
The plan will be to gather the new shooters and start them together so the can progress through the stages in order. New shooters will of course be able to shoot with their experienced significant other/friend/son/daughter/whatever. We will split the squads and add some strings for the experienced shooters if they want to. I can score the groups separately. We want this to be a stress free fun day for the newbies.
I encourage those bringing new shooters to review the stages, SO commands, key words (down range, muzzle, safe, finger, etc. and general safe handling of firearms before the match. Naturally, we will have the safety brief; but the more repitition for the new shooters, the better. Be sure the new shooters have eye, ear, and sun protection, as well as plenty of water.
Round Count is 72 minimum (we may add strings for experienced shooters, so bring extra).
This should be a fun day.
Schedule:
Setup starts @ 7:30AM - the mroe help the better!
New shooters Brief @ 8:30AM
Safety Brief @ 8:45AM
Hammer Down @ 9:00 AM - We are starting at 9 AM to beat the heat.
