The match director from when this was an extremely well run and popular match is back at the helm this year.
And they've moved it from Oct/Nov to February 21st, so it will kick off the 2009 match season.
Who's going? I think I will be there.
We will offer a variety of interesting and challenging stages. There are nine total, requiring a minimum of 143 rounds. The stages are scrupulously revolver-neutral. No stages will require prone, kneeling, low-light or dark shooting — that happens when you get a revolver-shooting geezer putting the stages together. However, as always, strong and weak hand shooting, and shooting on the move, will be required.
The standard shooting trophies will be awarded according to IDPA guidelines. We will also award trophies to the quick-draw (Mozambique at two yards) and the dead-eye (low penalty) champions, as well as high lady, veteran, senior, youth and law enforcement champions.
