What: IDPA Safety Officer Training and Certification
When: Saturday, 30 June 2007, 0800-1700 (half day classroom time, half day range time)
Where: Lloyd's Range - in the barn and on the range.
Trainer: Terry Burba
Who may attend:
- IDPA members who want to be trained and certified as an IDPA Safety Officer. These will be the primary students and will receive all of the hands on training with Terry.
Limited space will also be available for:
- Current IDPA Safety Officers who want to monitor the training and refresh their knowledge.
- Non-IDPA CCPC members who want to monitor the training and help out as Safety Officers at our Action Pistol and 3-Gun matches. (These students will receive hands on range training with Steve and Tom)
Cost: $20 - IDPA Safety Officer initial certification. (includes course materials, facilities, and lunch)
$15 - Monitor Training (includes copy of course materials, facilities, and lunch)
$5 - Monitor Training without copy of course materials (includes facilites and lunch)
What to Bring: Range gear/eye and ear protection/concealment vest/pistols/ammo (exact round count will be published soon, should not be to many bullets)
RSVP by 16 June - Must have IDPA number for new students and IDPA number for current IDPA Safety Officers monitoring the training. If you just want to monitor the training, please specify whether or not you want a copy of the course materials.
