I thought this might be of interest to the group. Cheers and good luck to
everyone in the 2003 season!

Subject: Football Rater's Update: Gentlemen, Start Your Engines!
Some of us have already started our engines. Others are filling their tanks. But
we'll all finish together.
I posted this to the Ratings group earlier:
"Kenneth Massey has eleven systems up so far on his comparison page at
http://www.mratings.com/cf/compare.htm Todd Beck is readying his tracking
pages at
http://tbeck.freeshell.org/ And David Wilson is always ready with all
the information you can digest at
http://www.cae.wisc.edu/~dwilson/rsfc/index.shtml That's all the information
you need to get your season started off right. Start watching for the football
ratings to show up right here in your mailbox. It's that time. Tell all your
friends to sign up to receive this year's ratings from various football raters
so they will be ready, too."
That group, as I told you last year, is a place to post your ratings free to
fans' email boxes. All you have to do is to send them to this address:
mailto:
ray@...
Be sure to include links on your site and your email address, if you wish. This
is a free advertisement for you. In addition, it would be helpful to all who
post their ratings there if all of you could find a spot on your web site to
allow people to sign up to receive those ratings. All you need to mention is
that they will receive various football ratings in their email free and give
them this address:
superlist-subscribe@...
That will automatically subscribe them to receive ratings from all of you who
wish to post them. Not a bad idea, huh?
And, by the way, it's football season, so you guys can start talking, now. And
send this to any raters you think might not be receiving it. That would include
hard-to-locate ones and new ones.
Thanks,
Ray Waits
